TheStreet, Inc. (www.t.st), a leading financial digital media company, is seeking a Client Relationship Manager for its B2B business units, The Deal and BoardEx. As a leading provider of actionable business intelligence for c-suite executives and M&A professionals, we offer a platform for thought leadership to clients through live and virtual events and conferences, video services and custom advertising solutions. Our clients include the largest global investment banks, law firms, professional services, buyside and executive search firms.
Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, the Client Relationship Manager will immerse themselves within the industry and build relationships while promoting our cutting-edge suite of solutions to clients and business partners both pre- and post-sale. This person will be the main contact with clients as their programs are planned and executed and will attend events and conferences, as well as host clients in our state-of-the-art broadcast studio. This role will combine a mix of lead generation, proposal writing, project management and marketing coordination.
•Research sales prospects and assist with lead generation
•Partner with marketing team to create compelling sales materials
•Customize client presentations and proposals
•Coordinate contracts with legal and client
•Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., editorial, video, marketing, programming) to manage the production of custom events, videos, webinars, whitepapers, etc., including client approvals, milestones, etc.
•Deliver assets on time, on budget and on strategy.
•Manage all client communication and deliverables throughout project
•Post program analysis for clients to showcase results and campaign metrics
•Solicit client testimonials
•Host clients and their guests on-site at events or in studio to ensure sponsor’s participation and satisfaction
•Develop industry expertise to demonstrate your understanding of trends, changes, innovations and overall market conditions
•Communicate client feedback to staff and management team to refine and improve internal processes regularly
•Minimum 2 years work experience
•Professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
•Entrepreneurial spirit; professional and business savvy demeanor.
•Excellent organizational, analytical and influencing skills
•Experience working with creative teams, journalists or production team is a plus.
