The Street, Inc. (www.t.st), an award winning financial digital media company, is seeking a Customer Service Executive whose primary function is to serve as an ambassador for the brand managing and fulfilling client and prospect client needs and inquiries. This role will also focus on customer outreach and retention to ensure a complete premium customer experience. This is a fast-paced and innovative environment, often with multiple competing deadlines, so the ability to diligently multi-task is an invaluable skill.

Responsibilities:
• Manage daily customer service queue of incoming client calls and handle escalated support and sales calls
• Process daily orders including subscription upgrades, username changes, service changes, customized orders, multiple account management, and complimentary premium subscriptions as needed
• Research and assist in the resolution of client inquiries or problems received by Leadership, Legal, and Sales teams
• Process emails, cancellations, and declined cancellations within the appropriate time frames
• Monitor and process all credit and adjustment requests
• Monitor and process daily online requests
• Achieve assigned retention goals by demonstrating product value to save/prevent members from cancelling subscriptions
• Pro-actively reach out to TheStreet customers to ensure subscription renewal process flows without any issues
• Work closely with the Relationship Sales Team to ensure customer needs are met effectively and efficiently
• Support departmental needs as necessary
• Work closely with Customer Service colleagues to share best practices

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• 2+ years prior customer service and retention experience
• Prior experience working in customer service within a call center environment
• Knowledge of financial markets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated team player who can also work well independently
• Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence in speaking to customers
• Computer literacy (proficiency in MS Office applications)
• Desire to learn new products and applications as needed
• Friendly and outgoing demeanor
• Basic understanding of and passion for the stock market with a familiarity of financial terminology
• Prior up-selling/ cross-selling experience is a plus
• Financial experience a plus
