TheStreet.com, a world-class financial-news Web site founded by Jim Cramer and based on Wall Street, seeks an intern who understands markets and investing and can serve as liaison between our Marketing and Editorial Departments.
The Financial-Markets Intern primary focus will be to assist our marketing staff in understanding complex financial topics for effective marketing materials. A secondary responsibility will be to assist our Editorial staff in producing articles, opinion columns and other content, which will be used within our marketing materials.
We're looking for a candidate who combines solid writing skills with good knowledge of stocks, bonds and other investing topics. The ideal applicant would be a confident college student or recent graduate whose studies have combined business and finance with journalism, marketing or English.
The Financial-Markets Intern would be expected to work 40 hours a week.
